Evanston Cricket Club's annual “Friends & Family Day” is celebrating Jamaica’s 62nd year of independence on Sunday, August 4th, 2024 at James Park in Evanston, Illinois. For nearly 20 years, this event has brought together community members and people of all ages, races, and nationalities for a day of unity, peace, and cultural celebration through the arts and musical performances.
This event serves as a way for our organization to show appreciation, engage with, and give back to the community members. This is the largest Caribbean Cultural event held in Evanston, and is a FREE family-friendly event for all to attend!
