Join us on August 31st at Bronzeville Neighborhood Farm for a program as part of ReSOURCE: Art and Resourcefulness in Black Chicago. Artist Candace Hunter will unveil a public art piece that captures the stories of Bronzeville residents, reflecting their lived experiences and voices.
This program honors the rich tradition of oral history and the griot’s role in preserving collective memory. It also celebrates our deep connection to the land at Bronzeville Neighborhood Farm, a vital source of community and cultural resilience. Come engage with the narratives that have shaped our neighborhood and contribute to the ongoing legacy of Black creativity in Chicago.
