The Beverly/Morgan Park Juneteenth Family Festival aims to honor our ancestors, celebrate African and African-American cultural heritage, unite our diverse community, and connect Chicago residents with resources and services.
Every year, thousands of people flock to Chicago’s south-side Beverly/Morgan Park community to attend the annual Juneteenth Family Festival.

Sessions: On the hour from 1pm-5pm
Description: Immerse yourself in the tranquility of sound meditation. Through the gentle vibrations of singing bowls, chimes, and other melodic instruments, you are invited to let go of stress and tension. These sessions present a sense of calm and inner peace.

Windy Indie- Classically Trained Violinist!
Windy Indie is a classically trained violinist from the West Side of Chicago whose versatility on the violin is rooted in her humble beginnings. Since picking up the violin as her principal instrument in 6th grade at K.I.P.P. Ascend Charter School, she has become passionate about music and encouraging others to believe in themselves.
Hi Love – A Soul-Piercing Songstress!
Hi Love, formally known as Kamilah Sumner, is a veteran soul piercing songstress originating from the Southside of Chicago. Her early career works include working with Kanye West, Grammy Award-Winning Producer Needlz. Music exec and Grammy Award-Winning Producer NO I.D.

Moya- Electrifying Drum & Dance!
MOYA educates through electrifying drum and dance! We guarantee to integrate state learning goals while bringing Africa to you through creative songs, dance, storytelling, and audience participation. MOYA is a West African term from the Mandingo Ancestry, meaning “Family.” MOYA’s mission is to cultivate minds and uplift youth through Afri-tainment, which affirms our dedication to attaining success through knowledge and understanding of the rich African culture using entertainment as our catalyst.
Chicago Bulls Bucket Boys
The Chicago Bulls Bucket Boys are an extremely talented group that has been putting their percussive skills on display across the country for years. This professional ensemble has performed regularly at the Chicago Bulls home games and functions with appearances at other NBA and NCAA games.
TOG Footworking
Jalen Barnes is a multi-genre producer and DJ, actively pushing footwork, hip-hop and bass music intentionally with his undefeated footwork crew: Takeova Global. He is a young heavy-hitter of Footwork.
Windy Indie- Classically Trained Violinist!
