Black Culture Week is a demonstration project.

It is designed to model a Theory of Transformation called Black Culture Awareness.

For ten days, with Juneteenth as a cultural backdrop, we center community action and communication around the celebration and practice of authentic Black culture.

Resilient, responsible and evolutionary in presentation, Black Culture Week presents the best aspects of humanity, beautifully expressed as a direct rebuke of depressed, unjust and inhumane circumstances.

Authentic Black culture heals. It amplifies and sustains the life-affirming values and principles that have sustained us in America and abroad.

We invite you to join us in a celebration of Black communities, Black families, Black health, Black wellness, and Black freedom.
